Getting to Nesuchyně

The workshop will take place in Nesuchyně, approx. 55 km west-northwest from Prague.

By airplane

The distance between Václav Havel airport, Prague and Nesuchyně is 50 km. From the airport you can continue by a train or bus connection (see below).

By train

The closest train stop Mutějovice zast. is 2 km from Nesuchyně but from Prague it is more convenient to arrive at Lužná u Rakovníka. The organisers will arrange the final transport to the conference hotel from there. Please let us know the expected time of your arrival in advance or call/text one of the organisers once you arrive at Lužná u Rakovníka. Telephone contacts will be available shortly before the start of the workshop.

In Prague you will probably use one of the following two stations: Praha Masarykovo nádraží or Praha-Veleslavín. If you arrive by train at the main station, Masarykovo nádraží is about 10 minute walk. If you arrive by plane, catch bus no. 119 in the direction "CITY CENTRE". The buses leave every 7-8 minutes during the daytime. Take off the bus at the final stop Nádraží Veleslavín (15 minutes ride). The train station Praha-Veleslavín is about 5 minute walk from the bus stop Nádraží Veleslavín.

From Masarykovo nádraží, there are trains leaving at 13:02 (train no. R 1204), 15:02 (R 1206), 17:02 (R 1208), 19:02 (R 1210) and 21:02 (R 1212), which go directly to Lužná u Rakovníka (the journey is 1 hour and 18 minutes long). It is also possible to use one of the trains leaving at 14:02 (Sp 1570), 16:02 (Sp 1574), 18:02 (Sp 1580), 20:02 (Sp 1584) and 22:02 (Sp 1588), and change in Kladno to another train (the journey is 1 hour and 25 minutes long). From Veleslavín the train always departs 17 minutes later than from Masarykovo nádraží (at 13:19, 14:19, ...).

For the bus from the airport to Veleslavín you need the standard 30 minutes ticket, which costs 30 CZK. More details about public transport in Prague and where to buy tickets can be found at the official websites of DPP and PID.

The train tickets can be bought at any train station or purchased online via Arriva or České dráhy.

It is also possible to buy one ticket combining the bus from the airport and the train to Lužná u Rakovníka. For detailed information visit PID website. You need 11 zones ticket, it costs 110 CZK and is valid for 5 hours. The simplest way is to buy it by card in a yellow ticket vending machine (do not forget to validate your ticket when you start your journey) or use the mobile application PID Lítačka.

By bus

There are regular bus connections from Prague either directly to Nesuchyně or to Krupá and Lužná, which are close to Nesuchyně. All these buses go from the bus terminal Zličín.

If you travel from the city center, you can easily reach Zličín by metro line B (it is the terminal station). From the airport, catch bus no. 100 and go to the final stop. The buses leave every 24 minutes during the daytime and the journey takes about 17 minutes.

At Zličín, there are the following bus connections:

  • bus no. 405 - 13:10, 17:40, and 21:40, direct buses to Nesuchyně, the journey takes about 1 hour, the conference hotel is 500 metres from the bus stop,
  • bus no. 305 - 15:20 and 19:30, buses to Krupá, Šustna (RA), the journey takes about 1 hour,
  • bus no. 304 - 12:20, 14:20, 16:20, 18:20, and 20:20, buses to Lužná, Čs.armády, the journey takes about 48 minutes.
If you arrive at Krupá or Lužná, please let us know the expected time of your arrival in advance or call/text one of the organisers once you come there. The organisers will arrange the final transport to the conference hotel. Telephone contacts will be available shortly before the start of the workshop.

The buses no. 405, 305 and 304 belong to the Prague suburban transport system. It means that it is enough to buy one ticket for the whole journey starting at the city center or the airport. For detailed information visit PID website. You need the ticket for 12 zones, it costs 120 CZK and is valid for 5.5 hours. For travels to Krupá or Lužná 11 zones are enough, the price is 110 CZK and the ticket is valid for 5 hours. The simplest way is to buy it by card in a yellow ticket vending machine (do not forget to validate your ticket when you start your journey) or to use the mobile application PID Lítačka.

By car

Nesuchyně is close to the European route E48 between Karlovy Vary and Prague. Parking is possible on the hotel premises. The parking fee is 100 CZK per day.
